"Near the Cross", noto anche come "Jesus, keep me near the cross" o "In the Cross", è un inno cristiano composto nel 1869 dall'industriale e compositore di inni statunitense William Howard Doane. Alla melodia di Doane fu poi aggiunto il testo di Fanny Crosby. Oggi, nelle chiese cristiane, l'inno è utilizzato soprattutto durante i periodi di Quaresima e Settimana Santa.
